I’m Jerome Peart, the proud owner of Peart Mortgages.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I was passionate about helping Canadians understand how to obtain a new mortgage and how to leverage the equity in their home. So I decided to become a licensed mortgage broker. Since I came from a background in finance and communications, I felt I could make a big impact.

I started my business when the pandemic began, which gave me a taste of how low rates could go. However, since then, the mortgage landscape has changed, and interest rates are increasing while house prices are slowly decreasing.

As the industry begins to normalize, the mortgage process has become much more accessible in terms of contacting lenders and gathering documentation. It’s enabled me to complete applications within five days, which is not the easiest of tasks.

To achieve a quick and accurate outcome, I maintain open communication throughout the process. Seeing the light bulb go off when I educate clients with essential information is gratifying. 

I make it clear that I work for my clients and not the bank, which provides access to better options. Therefore, I’m dedicated to working hard on their behalf to find a product that suits their needs. It includes optimal terms and the lowest interest rate possible.

I work with integrity, and as an individual, I believe my honesty sets me apart. I’m also constantly learning from great mentors that have been in the industry for more than fifteen years. They have taught me how to create long-term relationships by focusing on the customer experience. 

In addition, I attribute my success to my family and friends, who push me to greater heights. They provide support by referring me to their friends and clients. It also fills me with immense satisfaction when I can receive referrals in unexpected places. People come up to me saying, “I heard that you do mortgages. Please see if you can help me.”

Having Fun

When I’m not matching my clients with lenders, my hobbies include working out and playing football and volleyball. I also love spending quality time with my beautiful wife and three kids going to the park, riding bikes, and playing board games. 

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
